四川民间曲艺品种。表演者用四川方言夹议地讲说故事。又称白话演说、评话。流行于四川各地及云、贵部分地区。道具仅一张桌、一把折扇、一方醒木。开讲前拍醒木可以提醒听众，烘托气氛。折扇用作模似物体。四川评书源于唐代的“说话”及明代的“评话”而盛于清。
   现代四川评书代表人物，民间曲艺艺术大师李伯清，在传统评书的基础上开创了一种新的说书形式，即“散打评书”。他的说书形式不拘一格，内容丰富多彩，以摆龙门阵、吹牛皮等方式，东拉西扯，以不正经话评正经事，用他对社会动态的敏锐观察和带有批判精神的生动剖析，让西南人骨子里的幽默大众化、平民化，非常贴近市民生活，因此深受普通老百姓的喜爱。现在，李伯清已成为成都市井文化最鲜明恰贴的代表符号。

   Focusing on talking, Sichuan Storytelling has been popular in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou since it came into being in Tang Dynasty. With a piece of wood, a desk, a folding fan, the storyteller tells the story vividly while performing the role absolutely lifelike by means of narration and commentary.
   Known as the most renowned contemporary Sichuan storyteller and folk artist, Mr. Li Bo-qing founded the modern Sichuan storytelling – Free Storytelling which evolved from the traditional storytelling. The Free Storytelling is diversified in both contents and forms. It brings popular culture to the stage of storytelling. Hence, the storytelling is no longer limited to some historical legends as it used to be. The new developments concerning jocosity and humor rooted in ordinary local’s life are attracting more audience to storytelling. Mr. Li Bo-qing has become the most brilliant symbol of local culture and custom in Sichuan.
